To launch the World Meeting of Families and the visit of Pope Francis to Ireland,
We will assemble outside the church at 7pm on TUESDAY 21st AUGUST when the church bells will be rung in conjunction with all the parishes in Ireland and around the world. There will be a short service in the church (readings and music ) followed by light refreshments and some Irish music and a display of Irish dancing in the Parish Centre. The Leixlip/Confey Papal Choir will provide the music in the church and will sing the hymns that will be sung at the closing mass in the Phoenix Park.
We extend a warm welcome to each one of you and to all in the parish and wider community and also to any visitors who will be staying with host families during this time.
Spread the word and let us all join together to celebrate the gift of family and friendship.
