It is with great sadness we announce that Fr. John will be leaving Leixlip Parish. He has been appointed as Parish Priest of Balbriggan to take effect in late August or Early September.

Words cannot articulate the sense of loss being expressed by parishioners since the announcement was made and it is with  a heavy heart we say farewell to Fr. John and wish him the very best in his new role.

Fr. John will be replaced by Fr. Gregory O’Brien, Parish Priest of Templeogue Parish.  We welcome Fr. Gregory to Leixlip and we include both priests in our prayers for success in their new appointments
