Parish Cells

The first cell meeting in Leixlip was held in July 2004, with the help of the cell members from St. John the Evangelist, Ballinteer

Since then Leixlip/Confey Parish Cells have increased dramatically, reached out to neighbouring Celbridge and have developed their own Parish Cells website. It is an excellent resource with full history of the “Parish Cells System of Evangelization” set up in Leixlip/Confey, in Ireland and worldwide. It contains up-to-date Local, National and International news and events such as the International Parish Cells Seminar held annually in Milan.

A cell is a group of four or more people who meet fortnightly in the leader’s home in the belief that ”Where two or three meet in my name, I shall be there with them” (Mt. 18: 20)
